Apply the paste on the surface of the canvas or art board with a palette knife. Spread the paste over the entire format. Create chaotic strokes with the palette knife.

Recommendations: stir the paste well with the palette knife before laying out the form. Remember, a common cause of cracks or tears in the paste after drying is air bubbles inside ( i.e. in the thickness) of the material.
