To achieve delimitation effect use isopropyl alcohol 70-80% to mix it with the inks. If you don’t have alcohol 70-80%, but you have alcohol 99% it is required (!) to add water to alcohol and dilute the ink with it. Mix alcohol and water in the following proportion: 60-80% alcohol and 20-40% water. Start with less water, and if the effect is weak - add more water to the alcohol. If the ink turns into a precipitate, too much water has been added.
Shake the ink thoroughly before using.
Do not dry these inks with the dryer like with other regular alcohol inks - these inks have to dry on their own.
The inks work only on slippery surfaces (synthetic paper and plastic paper is the best option).
Tips:
1. Inks with different degrees of separation do not mix together to create a third colour, they dry in two colours. This looks stunning, it’s worth trying it!
2. Inks of the same degree of layering work well together.
3. The inks work well with inks from other lines.
4. After drying coat the image with a few coats of spray acrylic varnish (not needed if you use Kamenskaya alcohol varnish).
5. Make sure that the surface you are working on is flat so that the drawing does not move away while drying.
Safety precautions: Work in ventilated areas, products are flammable, must be kept out of the reach of children and away from open sources of fire. Use strictly for the intended purpose. In case of contact with mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor if necessary.
